Restore Strength. Preserve Confidence.

Crowns & Bridges

When a tooth is damaged, weakened, or missing, repairing it properly matters. At Guthrie Dental, crowns and bridges are designed not only to improve appearance but to restore strength, stability, and long-term function. We believe restorative dentistry should feel thoughtful and precise—never rushed.

Protection Designed to Last

Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a custom-made restoration that covers and protects a damaged or weakened tooth. Crowns are often recommended when:

  • A tooth has a large filling
  • A crack or fracture threatens structural integrity
  • A root canal has been completed
  • Significant wear has weakened the tooth

Premium Materials

High-quality materials allow us to create crowns that blend seamlessly with your natural teeth, restoring both function and aesthetics. More importantly, they are made for durability.

State-of-the-Art Technology

We use innovative technology, including digital scanners and advanced equipment, to deliver precise, efficient treatment for accuracy, comfort, and lasting results.

Replacing Missing Teeth with Stability

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is a fixed restoration that replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring to adjacent healthy teeth. Bridges are recommended when a tooth is lost due to decay, fracture, or extraction, helping restore bite stability, prevent shifting, and support comfortable chewing and speaking.

Treatment Process

Straightforward treatment, thoughtfully planned and carried out with your comfort always at the forefront.

01

Initial Consultation

During your first visit, Dr. Guthrie will assess whether a crown or bridge is needed and suitable.

01

Tooth Preparation

The affected tooth (or teeth) is reshaped to accommodate the crown or bridge.

02

Impression Creation

An impression of your teeth is taken. This serves as a model for the crown or bridge to be crafted in a dental lab.

03

Temporary Crown

A temporary crown will be placed while the final crown is being fabricated.

04

Placement of Final Crown or Bridge

The temporary crown is cemented in place once the doctor has confirmed the crown fits properly.

05

Post-Treatment Review

Crowns are checked during cleaning appointments to ensure everything is functioning correctly.

Strengthening Health and Confidence

When a damaged or missing tooth is restored properly, it supports:

  • Comfortable chewing
  • Clear speech
  • Bite stability
  • Facial structure
  • Confident smiles

Thoughtful restorative dentistry protects your long-term oral health while preserving quality of life.

Dr. Renee was able to see me right away when my crown came out. They checked to make sure I didn’t have an infection or decay before they replaced it. The experience was pleasant, efficient and timely. Because of my experience, I made an appointment to have my teeth cleaned. I will use them as my dentist.

Where You’re Known — Not Numbered

We aren’t a volume-driven practice, and you are never just a procedure or a case number. Every treatment is thoughtfully planned, personalized, and delivered with the time and attention your health deserves.

Restoring More Than a Tooth

With thorough planning and proper care, crowns and bridges can last for many years. Regular visits help maintain their strength and stability. Restorative treatment is an investment in lasting comfort, function, and overall well-being.

If you’re experiencing discomfort, have a damaged tooth, or are missing a tooth, we invite you to schedule a consultation.
